team The Western Australian Institute of Translators and Interpreters (WAITI), Inc. was founded in 1975 as a not–for–profit entity run by practitioners, for practitioners. WAITI is a professional organisation that furthers the interests of member interpreters and translators and supports quality language services.  To safeguard and defend the interests of its members, WAITI focuses on Western Australian issues, while actively leading or contributing to initiatives affecting practitioners at the national level.
